End User License Agreement

Please read this End User License Agreement carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Opal Connect desktop application.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE OPAL CONNECT DESKTOP APPLICATION. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, OR USE THE SOFTWARE.

This Agreement is a legal contract between Opal Corporation (Pvt) Ltd ("Licensor", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a corporate entity registered under the laws of Sri Lanka, and you, either an individual or a single business entity ("Licensee", "you", or "your"), governing your localized deployment of the Opal Connect desktop software application.

1. Grant of License

Subject to your continuous compliance with the terms of this Agreement and the timely payment of applicable subscription fees via connectopal.com, Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and execute one (1) binary copy of the Opal Connect desktop application framework on a compatible personal workstation or localized corporate terminal under your physical control.

2. Scope of Commercial Use and Hardware Boundaries

Your operational execution right is bounded strictly by your active subscription tier. The software contains integrated licensing keys that monitor compliance with concurrent active workspace panel limitations (Starter: 3 accounts, Growth: 6 accounts, Professional: 10 accounts, Enterprise: Unlimited accounts). Running concurrent instances across unauthorized terminal emulators or virtualized sandbox systems to bypass plan ceilings constitutes a material breach and will cause immediate structural revocation of the software license token.

3. Restrictions on Use

You explicitly agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

  • Reverse Engineer: Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the underlying source code, layout grids, or structural algorithms of the application package.
  • Modify or Redistribute: Modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease, resell, distribute, host as a shared utility, or create derivative works based on the software architecture.
  • Bypass Validation: Circumvent, alter, or disable any security measures, license authentication checks, or automated account limit caps integrated into the code.

4. Intellectual Property and Local Privacy Assurance

4.1 Retention of Ownership


The software is licensed, not sold. All right, title, and interest in and to the application, including copyrights, source codes, visual UI interfaces, trademarks, and patent rights, remain exclusively with Opal Corporation (Pvt) Ltd under the Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003 of Sri Lanka.

4.2 Zero-Data Architecture


In accordance with our Privacy Policy, the application functions purely as a presentation layer on your terminal. It operates on a Zero-Data Ingestion Principle; it does not log, mirror, or capture your text chats, contact sheets, or operational data payloads. Your communication routing loops natively over third-party channels directly from your workstation.

5. Term and Termination

This Agreement is effective from the date you first download or install the software and remains active for the duration of your paid subscription cycle. This license terminates automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any restrictive parameters of this text or clear subscription renewal invoices. Upon termination, you must completely uninstall the application and purge all associated local cache configuration metrics from your workstation terminals.

6. Third-Party Architectures and Warranty Disclaimer

The software operates by integrating with third-party web utility loops (specifically WhatsApp/Meta). THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OPERATIONAL STABILITY OR FREEDOM FROM INTERRUPTIONS STEMMING FROM THIRD-PARTY PROTOCOL MODIFICATIONS ROLLOUTS BY PLATFORM UTILITIES OUTSIDE OUR DIRECT CONTROL.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAWS OF SRI LANKA, IN NO EVENT SHALL OPAL CORPORATION (PVT) LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, OPERATIONAL DOWNTIME, OR WORK DISRUPTIONS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. THE COMPANY'S LIABILITY FOR DIRECT CLAIMS SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE CHARGES PAID BY YOU FOR THE CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION CYCLE.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed strictly in accordance with the statutory laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any legal actions or contractual disputes arising out of this software framework shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts sitting in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
